What do we mean by becoming isolated from other exchanges?

Before explaining what is meant by isolation, let us take a quick look at the market.

The market that shows a correlation to BTC

We can see that all currencies are correlating the BTC. This situation has been going on for several years, and it is not a sign of a diverse market. Therefore, as BTC crashes, every other currency follows. Furthermore, as BTC rises, not all currencies follow to a same degree.

Some people are predicting that BTC history repeats and that we are slowly entering the era when BTC prices will start dropping and cause another great crash. If this happens, it means that the peak performance of other currencies is much lower that it were during the last big crash.

We could also argue that if hard-work and a progress does not necessarily imply the rise in prices of a currency (assuming it is not designed in such a way), then all the work we are doing is for BTC dominance.

Krakin’t is currently developing a system where data will be the main focus of the business model. Having the data that correlates with the BTC is useless, since it correlates BTC. In other words, the data that correlates each-other cannot be used with data-analysis and the A.I. algorithms.

For this reason, we have several options:

  1. List on all exchanges and ignore the BTC dominance.
  2. List on swaps.
  3. List on exchanges that aren’t popular and/or swaps.
  4. Do not list on any exchange but let the people list the Krakin’t however they want.
  5. Do not allow any Krakin’t listing.

Since Krakin’t project is very young, we are most likely going to pursue the option #3 to list on less popular exchanges and/or swaps. This means that we must look at listing on exchanges as a potential risk that could damage trading data we will be generating. These exchanges will have to be very new and not listed on the popular websites.

Hopefully the market will stay kind to other currencies and not do anything absurd such as crashing and damaging the prices of other young self-financed projects. However, if it does, it means that the mentioned BTC dominance is more serious than assumed, and that we have to start as a completely isolated and an independent project.
